What we do
Friends of Bahia Street is a WSU student group loosely associated with the non-profit organization Bahia Street and has as its objective the promotion of educational opportunities among the favelas of Salvador Brazil.
You can’t save the world, but you can help
Look for us around campus during finals week. We will have collection boxes in much of the Greek community as well. Simply drop off your texts that you can’t or choose not to return, and we’ll take it from there. The majority of the money raised through the sale of the books will be donated directly to Bahia Street, with a small portion retained by the club for future events.
